Medical Biller

Our office is looking for a friendly, hardworking, enthusiastic new member to our team! We are a busy optometric practice in a great location in Silverlake/Los Feliz area. We are looking for a qualified and talented Medical Biller. Spanish-speaking is a plus.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience in billing
• Knowledge of vision and medical insurances
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Superior customer service skills

Responsibilities:

• Billing vision and medical insurance for services materials
• Posting payments by insurance
• Review claims for accuracy
• Address insurance denials and communicate with patients accordingly
• Maintaining statistics for the office

All staff are cross-trained. Alongside the above requirements, employees will also be responsible for general office duties, e.g. answering phones, scheduling appointments, etc.

Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications.
