Cognizant is seeking an Inpatient Medical Coder for a remote, work-from-home role in the United States. You will review and resolve denials, code inpatient diagnoses and procedures, and work with physicians to clarify documentation, maintaining high accuracy and productivity.
Requirements include three years of inpatient coding, CPC/COC/CCC/CIRCC and RHIT/RHIA/CCS certifications, and experience with EPIC and 3M Encoder. Salary is hourly with benefits and a strong focus on compliance.
