Job Details – Job Location: Camco Plant – FLORENCE, KY 41042-3010 – Job Shift: 1st Shift
The Quality Compliance Auditor is an entry-level role supporting Camco’s compliance and documentation needs in a chemical manufacturing facility. The technician audits new and revised product setups, audits Quality Management System documents, and assists with regulatory reporting. Responsibilities include overseeing rework and waste management, managing recurring compliance tasks such as stormwater and sanitation documentation, and gathering quality metrics data. The role also supports improvement efforts through FMEA reviews, control plan audits, and receiving or blending audits, promoting an error‑free environment that enhances audit readiness and reduces operational risk.
Quality Compliance and Improvement Track, audit, and improve operational execution on the floor for hundreds of new or modified formulas and products
Audit and improve quality documentation to strengthen operational excellence on the floor
Obtain data points throughout audits to drive continuous improvement
Oversee the inflow and disposition of rework and waste to promote efficient, compliant operations
Support audits in FMEA/Control Plan, incoming receipts, and chemical blending
Field Work and Regulatory Compliance Sample wastewater and stormwater pits during rain events and submit them for quarterly or monthly reporting
Maintain Sanitization documentation and Monthly Wastewater documentation
Respond to quality non-conformances
Support non-conformance investigation, corrective action, and preventive action processes with data collection, personnel interviews, and documentation of findings
Assist with on-the-floor spot checks during heavy regulatory reporting times

Training and Employee Development Facilitate quality metrics meetings and evaluate improvement ideas through auditing

Travel for quality training (less than 10%)
QualificationsEducation and Experience Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, STEM, or a related field (preferred)
0–2 years of experience in a quality-related role, internship, or industrial environment (preferred)
Technical Skills Soft computer skills needed for creating reports and maintaining records i.e., Microsoft Office, Packing Quality, Pulse
Availability Flexibility to support all shifts and/or weekend activities
Language Skills Bilingual – English/Spanish (preferred)
Other Skills Detail‑oriented and ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing situations
Ability to manage projects through completion
Ability to communicate throughout the organization when required
Ability to manage time effectively
Ability to be on feet 80% of the shift
Able to climb steps, ladders, etc. when required
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to be medically cleared for respirator use.
Ability to work in an industrial chemical plant environment, including exposure to noise, heat, cold, and chemicals (with proper PPE)
