Seeking an experienced Surgical Coder to accurately code complex major surgical procedures across multiple specialties. Oncology coding experience is highly preferred.
Location: Remote (company located in Duarte, CA)
Duration: 3-Month Contract
Pay: $33-39/hr
Responsibilities
- Review medical records and assign accurate CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes.
- Code complex surgical cases while ensuring compliance with coding guidelines.
- Maintain coding accuracy, quality, and productivity standards.
Qualifications - CPC certification required.
- 5+ years of multispecialty surgical coding experience.
- Oncology surgical coding experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and medical terminology.
- Experience coding major surgical procedures in a healthcare setting.
