Job Description

Compliance Auditor

Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for:

1 – Full-time

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or in a related field of study or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • Obtain Certification in Health Care Compliance within 2 years.
  • Knowledge of key risk areas, previous compliance experience, understanding of key compliance requirements, previous experience with compliance audits.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.

Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:

  • Conduct routine and targeted internal compliance audits
  • Prepare audit reports summarizing findings, trends, and recommended corrective actions
  • Track corrective action plans and follow up to ensure timely resolution
  • Develop routine monitoring plans in collaboration with each department leader
  • Assist with compliance and privacy incident intake, documentation, investigation, and mitigation
  • Support data collection for risk assessments, site visits, and other external audits
  • Assist with developing compliance and privacy training presentations and learning materials
  • Assist with developing and maintaining compliance program policies and procedures
  • Monitor deadlines to ensure formal performance evaluations are completed prior to contract renewal or extensions
  • These functions are not all inclusive
