The Medical Imaging Supervisor is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Baker City, OR. This role oversees daily operations of the medical imaging department, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and resource allocation to ensure safe, high‑quality diagnostic services. The supervisor leads and supports imaging staff, provides coaching and performance feedback, and promotes adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include monitoring quality assurance metrics, ensuring proper use and maintenance of imaging equipment, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other departments to optimize patient care. The Medical Imaging Supervisor also assists with budgeting, inventory management, staff education, and the development and implementation of process improvements. Qualifications Demonstrated leadership abilities in a clinical or imaging department, including team supervision, performance management, and staff development. Strong knowledge of medical imaging practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., radiation safety, quality assurance, compliance with state and federal guidelines). Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families. Organizational and problem‑solving skills to manage schedules, workflows, and departmental projects in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with healthcare information systems and imaging‑related technology (e.g., PACS, EHR systems) and comfort with data reporting. Current licensure or certification in an applicable imaging discipline (such as radiologic technology), in accordance with state requirements. Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology or related field; an associate or bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or management discipline is preferred. Experience in hospital or outpatient imaging settings, with prior supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred.
