Position Summary The DBO Lead Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of teams performing revenue cycle functions across multiple clients, acting as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day time management, support services, policy interpretation, and dissemination of new directions. The role requires frequent, effective communication via phone, email, and instant messaging with client teams, and a strong focus on analytical, independent, and self‑motivated work. The Supervisor reports to the Domestic Business Office leadership team and has direct responsibility for unit financial performance.
Responsibilities Own client‑facing meetings, including creating agendas, issue logs, report packages, and supporting materials to facilitate discussion.
Manage team metrics, including individual productivity and quality measures and client‑specific service‑level agreements.
Collaborate with HMS Shared Services to complete onboarding for new clients, including staff assignments, system access, equipment, required trainings, and onboarding expectations.
Align staff to appropriate shifts to meet client expectations for hours of operations.
Review and approve all employee time, including time‑off, client billable time, and overtime.
Create and maintain unit budget and utilization key performance indicators, including project and client‑specific budgets and monitoring within Workday.
Coordinate with RC Analytics and IT to ensure accurate, up‑to‑date reporting of time entry, computer activity, and client activity logs.
Work closely with the Human Resources Team and DBO Leadership Team on staff performance escalations and concerns related to absence and time reporting.
Required Skills Knowledge of accounting systems, insurance issues, healthcare industry trends, legal requirements, third‑party and governmental guidelines, and work processing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to relay information effectively.
Flexibility and adaptability to change.
Comfort operating and making decisions in ambiguity.
Strong organizational skills, including prioritizing initiatives based on risk and benefit, managing multiple initiatives, responding to emails and phone calls in a timely manner, and creating and managing project work plans.
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to interpret large data sets and translate outcomes into recommendations for improvement.
Core Qualifications Current permanent U.S. work authorization required.
5+ years of revenue cycle experience in a multi‑facility, integrated health‑care delivery system or consulting, with Epic PB coding experience and CPC coding certification required.
1+ year of leadership experience in a multi‑facility, integrated health‑care delivery system or consulting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands The role requires remaining seated at a desk/computer for 8 hours daily; repetitive use of computer keyboard and mouse; use of computer monitors for 8 hours daily; interaction through video/audio conference calls and possible use of a headset with microphone; very rarely duties might require the ability to lift up to 20 pounds and bending and standing for periods at a time.
Salary The estimated salary range for this job is $55,000–$75,000. This range represents a good‑faith estimate of the salary that Huron expects to pay at the time of the job posting. The actual salary may vary based on multiple factors, including skills, certifications, experience, and market conditions.
