Medical Biller
Our client, a leading global organization, is seeking a dedicated Medical Biller to join their team. As a Medical Biller, you will be part of the A/R Department supporting the Accounts Receivable team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Tempe, AZ- Onsite NOT remote.
Pay Rate: $27.00/hour
Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm
What's the Job?
- Responsible for posting payments from insurance carriers (EOBs) and patients
- Balancing daily deposits and reconciling remittances to ensure accurate accounts receivable data
- Interpreting and accurately entering data from paper and electronic EOBs into the RMS
- Identifying, calculating, and applying contractual adjustments, deductibles, copays, and coinsurance based on payer contracts
- Resolving discrepancies between payment amounts and billed amounts while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
What's Needed?
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology, Accounts Receivable, and Clerical procedures
- Ability to interpret and process insurance EOBs accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
