Role Summary The Value & Implementation (V&I) Medical Data Analytics Center Data Enablement Associate Director assists the V&I organization in discovering information hidden in data to make data‑driven strategic decisions for the organization. The role requires a unique combination of skills to gain trust of therapeutic area and regional colleagues, think innovatively, and execute by gathering the necessary data and developing analytic solutions that fulfill internal stakeholders’ needs. Enterprise Leadership Skills (ELS) Execution Excellence Ownership and Accountability Business Savviness Responsibilities and Primary Activities Partner with internal stakeholders to understand the needs of V&I. Identify appropriate data sources to address those needs. Ensure high quality, rigorous, and readily interpretable deliverables. Develop data visualizations and presentation decks to communicate findings. Provide recommended actions to senior and executive leadership teams. Contribute toward a collaborative environment that maintains an entrepreneurial spirit, a strong understanding of healthcare data and technology, and the ability to identify and use new data sources. Keep abreast of the latest trends in the field through continuous learning and proactively champion new methods. Collaborate with peers in other functions on cross‑functional analytics projects to drive efficiencies. Manage external vendors. Develop and own scalable analytic products that fulfill stakeholders’ needs. Develop and maintain internal databases, data pipelines, and supporting documentation. Design and develop analyses to draw inferences and conclusions to inform decision‑making for V&I. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, actuarial science, or equivalent with 8 years of relevant experience; Master’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience; PhD with 1 year of relevant experience. Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience; Master’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience; PhD with 5 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated experience in advanced analytics, statistical modeling, NLP, AI, machine learning. Expertise in Python, object‑oriented programming, and version control (e.g., git). Experience with cloud computing services such as AWS. Experience using SQL and relational databases. Experience analyzing real‑world data assets including EMR and EHR. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong business acumen in the pharmaceutical industry. Ability to translate complex ideas and analytical results into actionable insights. Strong presentation and stakeholder relationship skills. Experience building cross‑functional partnerships and working across global teams. Ability to influence peers and leaders. Strong listening skills, attention to detail, entrepreneurial spirit, high initiative, innovative thinking, intellectual curiosity, and personal integrity. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Global Medical Affairs. Experience using CMS quality data. Exposure to payer analytics or Market Access analytics. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with visualization software such as Tableau, Spotfire, Qlik, or related. Exposure to big data technology such as AWS Redshift. Salary The salary range for this role is $156,900.00 - $247,000.00, based on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs. The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable.
