CODER - LEVEL III - HIM (Health Information Management) RHIA, RHIT, or CCS REQUIRED.
1 year of coding experience for inpatient and all outpatient types preferred.
Responsibilities: Review records and assign ICD-10 and CPT codes for reimbursement consistent with applicable guidelines on inpatient and outpatient records. Abstract statistical information. Communicate with physicians to clarify diagnosis or procedures for appropriate code assignment when documentation is unclear.
Will go homebound after 3-6 months of training.
