About the Opportunity Lucky Rabbit LLC is seeking experienced Medical Coding Specialists to support anticipated healthcare coding services for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Northern California Health Care System. We are building a strong candidate pool of professionals experienced in inpatient, outpatient, professional, surgical, and ambulatory medical coding. Opportunities are subject to contract requirements. Prior VA or federal healthcare experience is highly preferred but is NOT required. Candidates with strong civilian hospital, health system, or medical coding experience are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Review clinical documentation and electronic health records to assign accurate medical codes. Perform inpatient, outpatient, surgical, and/or ambulatory coding based on demonstrated expertise.
