AAPC Externship Opportunity – On-Site | Boynton Beach, FL

Are you a newly certified CPC-A or AAPC student looking for real-world experience to put on your résumé? Pro Practice Solutions is looking for 3–4 AAPC externs to join us on-site at our Boynton Beach, Florida clinic.
What you’ll do:
- Scan and index patient charts into eClinicalWorks (eCW)
- Enter patient demographics, insurance, and chart data into eCW
- Verify accuracy and completeness of records
- Learn how front-end data quality affects clean claims, denials, and reimbursement
- Get exposure to Medicare and commercial payer workflows in a live practice setting
What you’ll gain:
- Hands-on experience in eCW, one of the most widely used EHRs in the country
- Guidance from an RCM professional with 25 years of billing and coding experience
- Externship hours documented toward AAPC apprentice (CPC-A) removal, with a signed verification letter on completion

Details:
- Location: On-site, Boynton Beach, FL
- Schedule: 3-5 days per week —starting 11/01/2026
- Compensation: Unpaid externship — experience, training, and documented hours provided in exchange
- Requirements: Current AAPC member (student or CPC-A), basic computer skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality (HIPAA)
