The candidate will be working in the Collections department, but purely doing data entry and export (no appeals/adjuster phone calls/etc.).
Ideally would like to see some medical billing experience; but this is not a requirement.
-Pulling balances due for prescriptions dispensed to Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury claims (this data is auto-generated by our Salesforce software)
-Saving in Excel format
-Sending Excel spreadsheet to the patients’ attorney via fax along with an auto-generated cover sheet
-Notating that the balance was sent to attorney in our software system (Salesforce)
-Maintaining HIPPA compliance
It’s fairly straight-forward, but accuracy and attention to detail are extremely important. As long as the candidate is familiar with Excel and MS Office, can train the rest.
