FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Type of Position: Full-time Work Hours: Mon-Fri 8 am - 5pm General Description: In this role, you will support daily coding operations, ensures accuracy and compliance with all billing regulations, and drives continuous improvement in coding quality and efficiency. Responsibilities/Essential Functions Review Reports :Examine pathology reports to identify relevant information. Assign Codes :Use coding systems like ICD-10-CM and CPT to assign accurate codes to diagnoses and procedures. Ensure Accuracy :Verify that all codes are accurate and comply with current regulations and guidelines. Collaborate :Work with billing departments and healthcare providers to resolve any discrepancies or questions. Stay Updated :Keep up-to-date with changes in coding standards and healthcare regulations.
