Job Requirements for position of Medical Biller:
Two years experience in a medical office setting.
Customer Service – Manages difficult patient situations gracefully. Responds promptly to patient needs.
Oral Communications – Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations. Listens and gets clarification. Responds well to questions.
Professionalism – Approaches others in a tactful manner. Reacts well under pressure. Treats other with respect and consideration. Accepts responsibility for own actions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Medical Biller:
Knowledge of entire revenue cycle in a medical office including:
Entering patient demographics and billing information
Verifying insurance coverage and benefits
Collecting copays, co-ins, deductibles and balances from patients
