Remote Navajo Area Indian Health Service Remote Outpatient and Ambulatory Coding Navajo Area Indian Health Service This is a fully remote role supporting the Navajo Area Indian Health Service, which delivers care to roughly 201,583 members of the Navajo Nation across more than 25,516 square miles of northern Arizona, western New Mexico and southern Utah. You will code for five Service Units Gallup and Crownpoint and Shiprock in New Mexico, and Chinle and Kayenta in Arizona from your own home office, on Government-authorized secure access. Gallup Indian Medical Center alone carries one of the largest outpatient workloads in the Indian Health Service, so the case mix is broad: primary care, behavioral health, dental, ancillary services and acute inpatient care.
