The Medical Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate coding, claims submission, payment tracking, insurance verification, and follow-up with patients and healthcare providers.
Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting preferred.
Minimum three (3) years of experience in medical laboratory claims coding and billing role.
Certification in medical billing and coding preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of medical laboratory operations and processes.
