As a Medical Coder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate coding/billing. Having good workers compensation knowledge. Key Responsibilities Pull and review progress reports from Electronic Health Record System (ECW) and daisy bill. Perform comprehensive review of the physicians treatment report. Review treatment plans, subject lines, and clinical documentation for compliance. Analyze reports to determine appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes, including modifiers. Ensure the document is consistent with current coding guidelines and payer-specific requirements. Take action to send the report for billing.
