Medical Biller Yavapai County Community Health Services is seeking a detail-orientated Medical Biller to join our team. Ideal candidate will have experience in electronic health records (EHR), specifically NextGen, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), and collections. Major Duties, Responsibilities Enters and adjusts patient and billing information on a timely basis in order to meet month end processing, billing deadlines, and statement cycles. Researches charge issues and calls insurance companies to be able to make final decisions on how to process a claim. Answers incoming telephone calls and assists both patients and insurance companies with various inquiries. Posts payments from payers in a timely manner into the Practice Management System. Resolves unpaid and under-paid insurance billings. Refunds overpayments for medical services as needed. Researches, corrects, and re-files rejected claims in order to receive payment.
