Part-Time Entry-Level Medical Biller (Remote – Mental Health Practice)
Small psychotherapy private practice seeking a reliable, detail-oriented entry-level medical biller.
Responsibilities:
- Enter dates of service for each patient
- Submit insurance claims online through an established clearinghouse (already connected)
- Work within existing billing software to track claims
- Review basic claim status and flag denials or rejections
Practice Type: Outpatient Mental Health / Psychotherapy
Hours & Pay:
- Starting: Approximately 4–5 hours per month
- Potential to increase up to ~40 hours per month over time
- Pay: $25 per hour
Requirements:
- Medical billing or coding coursework or certification preferred
- Comfortable using online billing platforms and computer systems
- Organized, accurate, and dependable
- Mental health billing experience a plus, but not required
