The billers day to day work of medical coding and billing includes: properly coding services, procedures, diagnoses, and treatments. Preparing and sending claims for payments. Correcting rejected claims. Monitors outstanding balances and works on each to ensure each account is paid on time and in full. Daily clerical work of the billing department.
