Medical Coder Work hours: 8 hours flexible start time Position background: Medical Coder Position accomplishes: Reviewing CPT and ICD codes on claims Team: 14 team members - 10 coders 2 support staff Top responsibilities: Knowledge CPT coding - ICD 10 Coding - be able to review and code an encounter - Knowledge of Anatomy Be able to code an OP report Knowledge of Excel - knowledge of Word Ideal candidate background: Medical Coder Required skills/attributes: Experience Medical Coder at least 5 years experience. Preferred skills/attributes: Can code a medical OP report Professional license or certification required: yes from AAPC or AHIMA Dress code: Business Casual Interview preference: Would prefer in person
