Position Summary The incumbent is responsible for coordination of all hospital and professional radiology coding and abstracting functions in the Health Information Management Department. Reviews clinical documentation in accordance with documentation/coding guidelines and outside regulatory agency requirements. Participates in the development of processes and educational materials to ensure staff and physician compliance. Assists in overseeing the quality, accuracy, and productivity of the radiology coders and coded/abstracted data.
