South Central Primary Care Center Inc.

Established in 1992, South Central Primary Care Center, Inc. (SCPCC) is a 501c3, non-profit network of twelve Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) serving the communities of Irwin, Ben Hill, Coffee, Berrien, Lowndes, Cook and Atkinson counties.  SCPCC is governed by a Board of Directors made up of local community members whom are also active patients of the center.  SCPCC is a member of the Georgia Association for Primary Healthcare (GAPHC) and received the honor of Community Health Center of the Year in 2010.

The Bureau of Primary Health Care has deemed the Health Center – South Center Primary Care Center, Inc. to be an employee of the Federal Government for the purpose of Section 224(h). Any individual working for SCPCC or contracted independently for primary care services is covered under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) for medical and surgical related functions while acting within the scope of employment.

SCPCC’s mission is to develop and maintain a health care delivery system relevant to the needs of the people in our region.  We provide health maintenance through education, disease prevention, vaccination, screening, and treatment.  Our services are delivered in a high-quality, caring, and efficient manner regardless of the ability to pay.
