Job Description Job Description Description: Title: Medical Billing Specialist FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, PT 20 hours a week Location: St. Paul, MN 55107 Purpose: The Medical Billing Specialist is responsible for a variety of accounting functions for client billing, including verification of eligibility information, and resolution of a variety of problems. They follow up on submitted claims and patient billing, including resubmitting claims and resolving problems. Key Responsibilities: Duties and Responsibilities: Follow up on unpaid or denied claims, verification of eligibility. Research and respond by phone and writing to insurance coverage and billing issues. Run monthly reports to follow up on claim status with the various payors.
