Medical Coding Specialist Assigns ICD-9 and CPT codes to clinic office visit, hospital, lab and x-ray (as applicable) tickets in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring compliance with all applicable guidelines and regulations. Enters office visit charges into the system and monitors the progress of the claim. Resolves denied claims due to coding issues. Reconciles daily charge entry system batches to ticket totals entered.
