Medical Coder Senior The Medical Coder Senior provides the highest expert coding support within the Health Information Management (HIM) department. This role is responsible for accurately assigning ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes, ICD-10 PCS procedure codes, and CPT procedure codes utilizing encoding software and online reference tools. All coding is performed in strict accordance with American Medical Association (AMA) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance and optimal reimbursement.
