Cuero Regional Hospital is searching for a FT HIM Rural Health Clinic and Professional Fee Medical Coder . The Rural Health Clinic (RHC) and Professional Fee (ProFee) Medical Coder is responsible for accurately reviewing, assigning, and validating ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II codes for professional medical services provided in a Rural Health Clinic. This role ensures compliance with federal regulations, payer requirements, Rural Health Clinic billing guidelines, and coding standards while optimizing reimbursement and maintaining documentation integrity. Other duties as assigned. He/She will report to the HIM Director. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred. 2 years of professional fee coding .
