Coder IP | Health Information and Record Management | Full Time | Day Shift UF Health Central Florida – Leesburg, FL Overview The Coder InPatient is responsible for evaluating and assigning the appropriate ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT-4, and HCPCS codes, and abstracting pertinent clinical information for bill preparation. This includes work for Inpatient, Rehabilitation, and select Coder II functions as outlined in the Coding Policy and Procedure Manual. Responsibilities Evaluate patient records and assign accurate ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT-4, and HCPCS codes. Abstract and document pertinent clinical information to support accurate billing.
