Role Description

This position is a part-time contracted role of 30 hours per week, offered Hybrid for a Medical Biller at K & V Account Specialists.

The Medical Biller will be tasked with responsibilities including charge entry, posting of insurance payments, and management of front-end denials as well as back-end rejections.

Qualifications

- Proficient in medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT coding - A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field - Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy in billing processes - Ability to work independently in a remote work environment - Experience in multiple medical specialties is advantageous - Certification in medical billing or a related field is preferred, although not mandatory - Familiarity with billing software such as Practice Fusion and EZ Claim is beneficial - Comprehensive understanding of payer websites and verification processes is essential.
