Job Summary As a Medical Coder, you will be responsible for accurately assigning CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes to medical services and diagnoses based on patient records. Your accuracy and understanding of coding guidelines will ensure timely and correct reimbursement for our healthcare clients.
Key Responsibilities Review and analyze medical documentation to assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes.
Ensure coding complies with federal regulations and insurance guidelines (CMS, HIPAA).
Work with providers to clarify documentation and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in claims audits, rejections, and denials as needed.
