Job Description Job Description Busy neurology and sleep medicine practice is seeking a part-time Medical Billing Specialist to support the billing department with claims follow-up to ensure accurate reimbursement. Job responsibilities include: Tracking of submitted medical claims Denial management and appeals Collections Patient billing No-Fault arbitration preparation Additional assigned tasks based on the needs of the department/office   The ideal candidate is responsible, detail-oriented, efficient, and has strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is able to work both independently and with a team. Additional requirements include: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and EHR systems Prior medical billing and/or medical office experience Strong knowledge of No-Fault and commercial billing criteria Familiarity with reading and understanding EOBs and ERAs Ability to multitask and prioritize...
