Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Certified Coding Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical coding procedures and guidelines to ensure accurate coding and billing processes.
Duties
- Assign appropriate medical codes to diagnoses and procedures
- Review patient medical records for accuracy and compliance
- Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify information
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information
- Stay updated on coding guidelines and regulations
- Assist in resolving any coding-related denials or discrepancies
Qualifications
-Must have experience in interventional cardiology. Specifically, caths, stents, and peripherals.
- Proficiency in medical coding systems such as ICD-10
- Knowledge of medical billing, collection, and terminology
- Experience working with medical records and coding software. Eclincal experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Certification in medical coding is required
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is a plus

Pay: $25.89 - $29.00 per hour
