Job Description We are looking for an experienced Medical Biller for a client of ours that is a healthcare company based in Berkeley. This is a contracted, full-time, possible temp to hire on position. This position is NOT remote, it's on-site. The ideal candidate will be doing the following duties (may not be limited to): - Prepare, distribute and respond to all office correspondence - Make phone calls to patients/doctors/insurance/billing companies - Check/respond to voicemails throughout the day - Enter accurate patient demographics/verify insurance coverage - Post charges - Obtain retro authorizations - Collect/post/manage patient account - Use ERA to process claims, submit clean claims to insurance - Assist with preparation of patient statement, monthly closing - Review delinquent accounts, process payments from insurance companies/patients - Follow up on claims to see if its been accepted/denied - Investigate rejected claims on the reason of...
