Clarksville Medical Group, P.A. (CMG) is seeking a medical coding professional to work on-site in our clinic located in Clarksville, Arkansas. CMG has been caring for generations of patients in Clarksville and the surrounding community since 1973. We are committed to providing our patients Healthcare for Life.

Objectives of this Role:

 •     Manage the high-quality, timely coding of diagnoses and procedures for inpatient and outpatient accounts, using ICD-10, CPT Category 2, and HCPCS coding classification systems, to meet billing system requirements

•     Work closely with physicians, clinical staff, insurance companies, and other integral parties to uncover and discuss coding analysis results

•     Assist with continuous improvement initiatives

 Required Qualifications:

 •     Bachelor or Associate degree in health information technology OR

•     Certification as a CPC for Family Practice

•     ICD-10, CPT Category 2 and HCPCS Knowledge

Other Requested Qualifications

 •     2-5 years medical coding for Family Practice

•     Athena EHR

•     Familiar with Medicare, Medicaid and other insurance programs

•     Extraordinary interpersonal skills, highly collaborative, and builds strong relationships at all levels

•     Organized and superior time management skills

•     Ability to work independently and function effectively as part of a team

•     Bilingual in Spanish or Karen is desirable but not necessary

•     Patience, sound judgment, and discretion dealing with confidential information

Schedule:  Clinic Hours are M-F 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation: Based upon experience and discussed upon offer of employment.
