Surgery And Observation Coder 6 month contract to permanent, direct hire, Surgery and Observation Coder, remote/work from home 40/hours a week, not part-time Job Purpose: Reviews, analyzes, and assigns codes based on appropriate coding guidelines and criteria for outpatient medical record documentation to include, but not limited to: medical, diagnostic and surgical documentation for assignment of the correct ICD-10-CM and/or CPT-4 HCPCS codes. Primary coding responsibility is Outpatient Surgery, Emergency Department (ED), Wound Care and Observation.
