*NOT A REMOTE POSITION BROAD FUNCTION: The primary function of this position is to manage the daily operational billing processes for all of the hospital system service lines including but not limited to: Timely electronic and paper claims billing transmissions; Management and resolution of the returned or claims held for missing or invalid billing data; Compliance with all billing and reimbursement rules and regulations for both governmental and nongovernmental payers; and Achievement of established functional work stream Key Performance Indicator of a clean first submission claims rate of 85% or greater. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains complete knowledge of all state, federal, and contracted third party regulations for billing and reimbursement for all payers.
