The Inpatient Medical Coder is responsible for assigning ICD-10 and/or CPT/HCPCS codes as appropriate and abstracts pertinent information from patient records. The Medical Coding Auditor is responsible for performing internal QA audits on coding staff and supporting the quality of coding provided by coders.
