Remote Inpatient Coder The remote Inpatient Coder is responsible for assigning diagnosis and procedural code using ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding systems and monitors bill hold reports. This coder will be working on Inpatient accounts, must have Inpatient Orthopedic coding experience. Responsible for coding Inpatient records assuring proper MS/APR DRG assignment for all coded records. Communicate with the Workforce Manager when necessary. Performs other duties as assigned. Extensive knowledge of 3M encoder, Meditech is required. Must have a minimum 2 years recent Acute Care Inpatient coding experience.
