Supervisor of Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics The Supervisor of Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics is responsible for the management of patient care, personnel activities, and staff development in conjunction with the Clinical Educator and other Supervisors/Managers under the direction of the Director of Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics. This position assists with the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics, patients and participates in nursing educational needs assessments and quality improvement activities. The Supervisor, Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics assists with annual staff performance evaluations, investigating Safety Risk Management Reports, and with the development, revision, and implementation of new policies and procedures.
