Inpatient Medical Coder 2 This area codes inpatient medical records to facilitate the reimbursement and data collection for the individual business units of the OSU Medical Center and The James Cancer Hospital. ICD-10-CM/PCS codes are assigned for the diagnoses and procedures for all inpatients treated within the OSU Health System. Medical record abstract data is reviewed for accuracy in EPIC/IHIS before completing the chart. This position is responsible for coding some or all the following types of records: inpatient record types.
