Medical Coder The Inpatient Medical Coder under the supervision of the Manager of Coding and Data Quality accurately codes hospital inpatient accounts for the purpose of appropriate reimbursement, research, statistics and compliance to federal and state regulations in accordance with established ICD-10-CM/PCS coding classification systems. The Supervisor of Biomedical Engineering manages the day-to-day operations on the clinical engineering initiatives to provide superior customer service and operational efficiency by managing the execution of the Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP). This position assists the Senior Biomedical Manager with all aspects of program management, including equipment repair, equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, supervising and directing team personnel, planning and organizing work load, staff accountability, creating and maintaining open lines of communication, customer satisfaction and responsiveness, financial resourcefulness, personal and team development.
