Job Title: CPC Cardiac Biller - Interventional Cardiology
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Biller with extensive knowledge in interventional cardiology. This position requires a proven track record of success in cardiovascular billing and coding. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Full-time and part-time positions are available, and remote work will be considered for the right candidate. Immediate availability is preferred.
Responsibilities:
· Accurately review and process billing for interventional cardiology procedures, ensuring compliance with coding and documentation requirements.
· Verify and submit claims to insurance companies, Medicare, and Medicaid, following up on any denials or rejections.
· Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to obtain necessary documentation and ensure accurate coding.
· Stay up-to-date with current coding guidelines, reimbursement policies, and industry changes related to interventional cardiology.
· Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
· Provide exceptional customer service to patients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cardiac Biller, with a focus on interventional cardiology.
· Proven success in cardiovascular billing and coding, with a strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems.
· Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification or equivalent is mandatory.
· Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge of insurance guidelines and reimbursement policies related to interventional cardiology.
