Job Title: Medical Coding Auditor Location: Columbia, SC Duration: 3 months contract to hire Pay Range is $33-36. on W2 Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Job Description: Key Responsibilities and Experience: Perform DRG reviews and medical audits 3+ years in medical records, coding, and validation review Coding & audit expertise Reporting & analysis Validate coding (DRG, APC, Never Events) Coordinate claim rate adjustments Generate monthly/quarterly reports (trends, outcomes, savings) Manage records retrieval, HIPAA compliance Act as coding and audit subject matter expert Focus on DRG reviews and audit activities due to high volume RHIT, RHIA, CIC, CPMA, or CPC Education: Associate degree in Nursing or Health...
