Medical Coder Location: 200 Stevens Drive, Philadelphia PA The Medical Coding Specialist is responsible for abstracting and coding diagnosis information and/or medical conditions documented in physician office medical records using CMS, ICD-10 and/or Department defined criteria and guidelines. The Specialist will receive and review medical records electronically and document ICD-10 codes or medical record compliance issues using computer software. The Medical Coding Specialist is responsible for meeting average daily production goals while maintaining a minimum 91% accuracy rate on a consistent basis. Must be AAPC or AHIMA certified. Skills: Required to be certified by AACP or AHIMA.
