Job Description Medical Biller Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not all inclusive): Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies. * Investigate and appeal denied claims. * Collect and review for referral authorizations. * Follow up on and resolve financial discrepancies. * Monitor aged accounts receivable and keep to a minimum. * Prepare and collect delinquent accounts; follow up as needed. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: * Cross train with other departments as necessary * Participates in other duties as assigned by Supervisors Minimum Experience, Education, and Licensure: * High School Diploma or GED * Billing experience in a medical or physician office We offer benefits including insurance, paid time off, 401K, Hours Mon-Thurs, 7:30am-4:30pm; Fri 7:30am-3:30pm.
