As a Medical Coder II you will: Compile and maintain medical records for patients within a healthcare delivery system to accurately document patient conditions and treatments Review medical records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance Abstract and code clinical data including diseases, operations, procedures, and therapies Assign codes using standard medical classification systems Perform complex surgical coding , primarily coding major surgeries only Work within a multispecialty environment , with a strong focus on oncology cases Ensure coding accuracy to support billing, reporting, and regulatory compliance This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
