Required Experience: Minimum 4 years of hospital/facility-based Inpatient Coding experience, including: Principal Diagnosis selection DRG assignment Secondary diagnosis coding Procedure coding using ICD-10-PCS Inpatient account coding and DRG assignment across Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic, Orthopedic, and General/Oncology Surgery Minimum 1 year of hospital-based Inpatient Coding Auditing/DRG Validation experience, including: Validation of Principal Diagnosis and Principal Procedure Accuracy and quality review of diagnostic and ICD-10-PCS procedure codes Validation of account abstraction Additional Requirements: This is an Inpatient Coding position.
