Major Responsibilities: Acts as a resource and role model to team members, which includes training/orienting, providing day-to-day work direction, and giving input on performance. Assigns, monitors, and reviews progress, quality and accuracy of work, monitors productivity, maintains appropriate staffing levels, directs efforts and provides guidance on more complex issues. Codes routine to complex procedures and diagnoses including hospital-based or surgery center surgical procedures using ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines, procedures and protocols for government and commercial payers. Supervisor Medical Staff Services - Credentialing, $5000 Sign on Bonus! Leads, plans, organizes and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Medical Staff Services Department so that all aspects of the Organized Medical Staff are supported, including credentialing activities, professional relations, meeting management, and peer review activities. Additionally, compliance is maintained, with accrediting and regulatory agencies as related to the Medical Staff, including (but not limited to) Joint Commission, DNV, HFAP, CMS, OSHA, and State and Federal Law and other standards and regulations.
