About Us

UNC Health Pardee is a not-for-profit healthcare system that was founded in 1953 and is managed by UNC Health Care. It is the first hospital in the Carolinas to be accredited with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO 9001:2008) for quality health care standards.

We are licensed for 222 acute care beds and are the second-largest employer in Henderson County, with over 1,700 team members. We have several locations separate from our main campus, including a comprehensive physician practice network, four urgent care locations, and six orthopedic clinics.
